CARLY HUNT, PhD

T32 Postdoctoral Fellow in Psychiatry & Behavioral Sciences

I graduated from the University of Maryland with a doctoral degree in Counseling Psychology and joined the BMRL in 2019. I’m interested in understanding how positive psychological interventions (e.g., mindfulness meditation, savoring positive experiences) impact chronic pain, as well as the role of positive affect in health. I’m also interested in understanding barriers to meditation use and identifying ways of helping patients successfully adopt a regular meditation practice.
