New Year, New Gear!
The BMRL is back in full swing after celebrating the holidays...and what a better way to start a new decade of behavioral medicine research than with matching lab jackets?! A big thanks to our awesome staff for creating these!!

We celebrated the end of the decade with an Italian feast (planned by our wonderful lab director, Dr. Smith, and Party Planning Committee), a pizza party (hosted by the BMRL's Pizza Club), and White Elephant. Wishing you a great holiday season and start to the new year!
Bayview Research Symposium
Our awesome staff shared their research at the Bayview Research Symposium! Jenna presented her poster showing unique associations between socio-economic status and pain based on ethnicity. Shriya and Katie presented their poster on decisional impulsivity and experimental sleep disruption. Dr. Mun, Maria, and Caroline presented their poster on morphine-related pain relief and experimental sleep disruption. We also got to learn about the application of behavioral economics to healthcare from very interesting talks given by experts in the field!
