COVID-19 PROTOCOLS
We are carefully resuming in-person sessions at the BMRL and associated research sites. The care and safety of our team members and participants is of utmost importance to us.
We are currently following state, local, and university guidelines when it comes to bringing participants in for study visits. For this reason, we are following the universal masking policy and requiring that all individuals wear a face mask while in the lab and associated research sites. You will also be asked a series of health screening questions prior to each scheduled visit.
For your safety, all testing equipment and frequently touched surfaces will be disinfected before and after each study visit. Six feet of distancing will be maintained when possible.
Please note, you are required to wear a face mask and keep it on for the duration of your visit. Your nose and mouth must be covered at all times, even if you are not in the presence of another person. Masks that are not allowed in our facility include neck gaiters, handkerchief masks, and masks with exhalation valves or vents. If you arrive to your visit wearing one of these types of masks, an alternative mask will be provided to you (if there is sufficient supply).
If the health screen determines that you may be experiencing COVID-19 symptoms, or that you may have come into contact with the virus, you will be asked to leave the building and your visit will be rescheduled.
We ask that you wear a mask at all times and practice frequent and proper hand hygiene while in the lab. The care and safety of our team members and participants is of utmost importance to us, so anyone that is not willing to follow these policies will be asked to leave the building. If you have any questions about our policies and procedures, please call the lab at 410-550-7000.
