Eleanor Steffens, PhD, MPH

Postdoctoral Fellow in Psychiatry & Behavioral Sciences
I completed a Master of Public Health (MPH) degree from Boston University, a doctorate in Clinical Psychology from the University of Missouri St. Louis, and a clinical internship at the University of Colorado School of Medicine. My research interests lie at the intersection of public health and clinical psychology, with a focus on understanding and addressing psychiatric and physical health consequences of nicotine use among disadvantaged and marginalized groups. I am particularly interested in the role of noncombustible nicotine products (e-cigarettes, nicotine pouches) on insomnia severity in individuals with comorbid psychiatric symptoms.
