I graduated from East Tennessee State University with a doctorate in Clinical Psychology and completed my clinical internship at University of Washington School of Medicine in Seattle, WA. My research primarily involves exploring the influence of health behavior engagement and positive psychological traits and interventions on sleep quality, functional impairment, chronic pain, and depression among individuals with chronic illnesses. Further, I am particularly interested in administering and testing sleep interventions that can be utilized in integrated medical settings to improve outcomes for patients with comorbid physical and mental health conditions.
