Research Program Coordinator

Melinda graduated from Temple University with a degree in Public Health in 2021 and completed the Post-Baccalaureate Premedical Program at Johns Hopkins University in 2022. She plans to attend medical school and work at the intersection of medicine and public health. Melinda has worked with Johns Hopkins Health Education and Training Corps, Nationalities Service Center, Philadelphia Medical Reserve Corps, Prevention Point Philadelphia, and Foundation for International Medical Relief of Children. Her experience has focused on response to the COVID-19 pandemic, immigrant and refugee health access, resource-limited healthcare settings globally and domestically, and harm reduction. Her research interests primarily include health disparities within population health and healthcare access and policy. She most enjoys the staff collaboration and participant contact involved with research.
