SCRAMBLER THERAPY
What is this project about?
Scrambler therapy (ST) is an FDA approved method for treating chronic pain. ST replaces pain signals with non-pain signals by ‘scrambling’ the pain impulses being sent to the brain. We are interested in better understanding how the treatment works and for whom it is most effective.
This study will conduct standardized quantitative sensory testing procedures and a scrambler therapy assessment in healthy participants.

This study is approved by the Johns Hopkins Institutional Review Board (IRB00461470). The principal investigator for this project is Claudia Campbell, PhD
