SYDNEY JENSEN, BA

SYD_edited.jpg

Research Program Coordinator

Sydney graduated from Central Michigan University in May 2021 with a BA in Psychology and minors in Spanish and Advertising. She is originally from Clarkston, Michigan, in the Metro Detroit Area. During undergrad, Sydney was a peer advocate for Sexual Aggression Peer Advocates (SAPA), where she worked closely with survivors and those affected by sexual aggression. As an advocate, she learned a lot about communication and how best to connect with people on a personal and professional level and finds her time working with participants to be extremely rewarding. The thing Sydney loves most about research is being able to work with people of all different backgrounds and experiences in various settings, and that there's always opportunity to learn. Sydney hopes to continue her education in Clinical Psychology in the future.
